Well, well... Haven't been here for quite sometime... Time for updates: =3
First of... I resigned from my job as a customer service representative (about 2 weeks ago). Nah, it was not that bad a job...it was actually an advantage in my POV. And no, I didn't resign because it was that bad... actually, it was a bit ... but then again... it was not hell. It did help pay a few bills here and there. I am thankful that I was able to get that job (with all that is happening in our economy these days... it is a blessing). The reason for my resignation was that I am determined to continue my profession as a nurse. So, in order for me to do that... I have to take another exam to be able to practice it in US of A (specifically... California). I am currently reviewing for the said exam... and here I am (hoping and praying) that I would pass that exam with flying colors... Perseverance don't fail me now. lolz =3 Second, As I said awhile ago...I am currently reviewing for the exam. I know I can do it... *crosses pawfingers* I would prepare to the best of my abilities in a short amount of time (My exam is in mid - October... shudders). Third, I am doing my first ever commission ^^ ... They were supposed to be finished last June but then again... RL got me by my tail. I am gonna get these done before I leave hehehe... I would be in my happy place ( Los Altos, CA) by September 20... yay! Oh, btw... a friend of mine has this awesome scene shot and would like to know the details of that "show" (The What, Where, Why, When, Who and How of the said picture). I am gonna post the pic here ^^ in case somefur knows the details of the show... please tell me. And if possible, where can I find the said show. Hehe, Haven't updated this journal since February 2009. Alright, here goes:
As per my major, learning new things (and maybe get back to them old things as well) is, for me, considered a duty to myself...as a saying...in this course, continuous education is very important. I am still reading a few notes here and there from time to time...I am also preparing myself to take another major exam (I feel that I seem to forget what I had read before...that they are not enough so to speak). My job occupies most of my time...almost every damn minute. And if one is observant with my current postage...I seem to be taking more time now than that of before. I don't draw much...well, I still do but I can't say they are post worthy XD I am having a good time still with my job but who knows how long this would last. I can't stay there forever and ignore my actual course, can I?
I took a small commission from a friend to occupy my time and in order to refresh my drawing/sketching skillz...(if I ever had one rofl)...or force me to make time for drawing at least (trades don't seem to work on making time since they tend to be just taps on my shoulder instead of whips, which I need). I don't get commissions that much so I am quite happy that someone DID ACTUALLY commish me. I had one before but we had a discussion that didn't go out that well so meh. Oh well, at least now I have one. Lolz...and I trust him ^^ Would not mind if I have a few more...I need them bucks.
Alright, time to break the drama...sort of. XD I do believe in having a good time when one is in his work area / zone...And I don't see anything wrong customizing it to your liking to enjoy working or at least have a nice workplace XD My "furriness" gets me that I edited my "phone" and added a few things to my station. A friend even gave me a cute name tag...with a BEAR on it (those with eyes that go round and round) XD And surprising enough...most coworkers (team mates) are not that alarmed on seeing animal related things...well, they were asking a few questions though but not that big of a deal. And one even saw a sketch of mine lying on my desk that is semi suggestive (I was drawing while waiting for a call or so)...she was even interested (maybe cause she is also inclined with arts...theatrical...so that doesn't bother her that much.) Okay...a few examples of what I am talking about:
I graduated last April 2008 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. After a few weeks, I left town to visit my relatives and few good friends in the US of A, particularly in California...plus have my vacation there at the same time. There was an unexpected extension of my stay in CA...I thought we would stay for 2 months but then it was prolonged progressively. The extension was not a problem at all since we were given maximum of 6 months (we only stayed there for 5 months). Needless to say that I was not able to take the June Nursing Board Examination (Local...for 2008). My visit was alright, i guess...got to visit a few relatives and a few good friends as well...and not to mention meet an online buddy live and in furson ^^ (That's you Mr. Nievelion hehehe). Anyway, I got back to the Philippines early October...started to review to get back on my feet. After a few weeks...I took the November Nursing Board Examination (Local...for 2008). I was not 100% sure about my answers but I had the feeling most of them are good enough. January came...I cannot wait for the results of the board exam (specially the "not doing anything" part) So, I took a shot in finding me a job. I got rejected twice (long story) but then third time's the charm right? so i took another risk that same day (January 12, 2009)...I passed. Woof! What a feeling.
Recent: Alright, so now I just finished my basic and my product training for my work. I work as a call center agent (customer service representative) for a health insurance company based in USA (not mentioning it here unless asked *grins*). Anyway, I just graduated there last Saturday, February 21 of '09. I am happy ^^ On with them calls! hehe That is not the good part just yet. I forgot to say the result of the nursing board exam. Well, the result came out last Friday, February 20 of '09 (out of 88, 649 board takers...only 39,455 passed). Guess what...I FAILED!!! o_O'...wait, that's not it...I PASSED!!! yeah...that's it...I PASSED the Nursing Board Examinations last November of '08. I can now officially place the R.N. (Registered Nurse) after my name. ^^ Oath taking would be in the first week of April. I can't wait. =3 I now have a job AND passed the Board exams...wow...thank God...seriously! He made it all happen. *sighs with relief* I plan on taking Psychiatric nursing after passing the NCLEX exam. I need to refresh my memory and what nots though. hehe
Furthermore...my baby (dog) had her own bundle of cute puppies. 5 more to add to the family. Birthdate: February 14, 2009 - I know...Valentines day XD ...and all guys. ^^

I was browsing through youtube and came across with this movie entitled, "Junkers Come Here". I don't even know if this was the original title but that's what it said. It was really nice...I found it very interesting and not to mention Junkers is an adorable dog. At first I thought it was another typical dog adventure but then as the story unfolds...well, better watch it than hear it from me. hehe
Here is something I digged up on youtube as well. It is a suspense kind of movie. ^^ Beware for violence, blood and language. About cats in one particular neighborhood. ^^
Anyway, I went to San Francisco zoo today (got pushed around like a pinball from one place to another). The trip was not that much to talk about since it was a bit disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the said trip but heck...a lot of the zoo's featured presentations were Closed or canceled. There were few animals in there and they seem sad (cause most of them are alone). I felt uneasy so I headed home (did plan to stay at Ocean Beach but it was getting late). Got lost for a little while but I got to the train in time for departure. I plan on going to Fisherman's wharf next to see what changed over the years (don't know when but here's hoping.)
Oh, Kung Fu Panda Rawks! Saw the movie and I want to see it again...if possible. Topped a few movies on my list. Animation...Story...even those cliched kung fu jokes. I won't go into details so I won't spoil the story for those who weren't able to see it yet. lolz
First off...Greetings! Belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all ^^
It is good to be back! hmm...well, I was out of town for two and a half weeks (went to my proivince for Christmas vacation). Though it was a little bit uncomfortable since not all of the family members (including close relatives) made it there. And that the place was under construction...so, no televisions, no radios, no furnitures and no computers! though they have electricity...that is as close as we can get. Furthermore, the computer shops are farther than I can imagine. Wow, the only entertainment we had was our discussions and stories plus the beach, of course...the weather made sure that we had fun...at least it was a bit cooperative on some occasions. I was able to do my take home assignments from school and most of the necessary paperworks that I needed to take care of are still under management.
Christmas was not that exciting for me last year and same goes for New Year...We just ate and ate...slept...talked a little bit...then ate again. What an acivity...there was no excitement anymore, unlike the previous holidays that we had. Maybe because my parents are not there...nope, they are occupied. Oh well...past is past, hopefully, This year would be a lot better than last year. 3 months to go till I graduate...YAY! Uhh, I was not able to watch the Golden Compass as I have said but still...I was able to watch a few movies that I wasn't able to watch before such as Barnyard, Iron man, A series of Street Fighter II and TMNT (Japanese version) hehe...still good.
Right...Last December, Kale Shadowwalker (a good friend) celebrated his birthday...and I found out that it was a little bit off already. I asked him what he wants as a gift...he then said that if I really wanted to, I can draw Kale and Gruff hugging. XD o'course I agreed though since I was going out of town, I won't be able to colour it and probably it would end up as a sketch. But then again, I thought that this is rather late and it would be a nice Christmas gift for him as well so I did a small comic for him. Moreover, Mr. Kyle T. encouraged me to sketch something come this short break (by whipping me...oh, uhhh...lolz, Thank you sir V. ^^). Okay, I was not able to do a lot of sketches but still, doing a comic is much more harder than I thought.
This would be my first comic...uhhh, well...first to be posted here. I am still trying to grasp the basics (ended up as a practice for me as well). Special Thanks to Mr. Ryuu Majin for assisting me in the making of this comic. And I looked at how awesome artists design their layouts...thanks, got a little bit of idea. ^^ A lot of fun, it sure is...and I ma do this again if I have an extensive "free time" at hand. Oh, and I would really appreciate any help in doing comic strips. Comments, suggestions and Critics are welcome.
Hmm...I just got nothing better to do at this time so why not try this... THE CUTIE??? XP rofl...yeah right 9.9...haha. It is a bit accurate at some point but not everything though *grins*. Now Freak on the other hand...hmmm, that sounds a bit right XD I wonder, Is this exclusive to what I typed in the blank spaces or is this for everybody who was born on the month of July? ^^'

Here is something I whipped out in between classes and after duty, which, by the way, are VERY unstable! (Last week, my shift was from 2 pm - 10 pm then it shifted this week, 10 pm - 6 am) ouch! Though at least the staff there are really very nice and accomodating. and yay! I made it to 4th year second semester...a very hard journey that would be prosperous after next year...hope I can make it all the way! ^^
Anyway, This is an art trade with an awesome artist and a very good buddy of mine, Mr. Dan The Bear ^^ lolz, I really hope he likes it...XD The theme he requested was Dan and Gruff swimming underwater (the red speedos was his decision as well ^^) I am not good in BG's though I will polish that as time pass by.

Okay, there is not much update going on in any of my pages...in livejournal, furaffinity and especially in deviantart. As much as I want to fill out new stuff in here and the other two pages, I am kinda swamped with a lot of things to do both at work and at school...they really found time to make us busier than before. Oh well, what can you do. I excused myself from work for 1 week (this week) because I am reviewing and going to take both written and practical exams for the certificate of completion and attendance regarding Basic Life Support and First Aid (Emergency). This would allow me to have a permit to do First aid and basic life support in my country (I am not sure if that would be honored in other countries as well, maybe not). They are gonna hand out ID's for that. And yeah...the final exams for this would be on Friday...Hope I pass. XD I already had my practical exam for basic life support awhile ago, was a bit confusing but I got it...at least I believe that I did. ^^ Hope I do well in this. (crosses pawfingers)
And on the other side of the coin...my driver's licence was lost...I am not sure where it went but It is gone. I checked everywhere, even where I had been but to no avail. Zip! I really have to take these kind of documents and shove them in a safe or something. It was inside my wallet though...maybe it fell or something. Oh well, I got a student permit for the time being, they would release my new driver's licence by the end of September...Maybe first week of October. *grins* my fault...so I suffer the consequences.
And I am going to start and post something new this week or so. haha, probably weekends. Kick me if I don't...lolz. Right, That's it for now ^^
Alright, lolz...I have no artwork updates for now and I just like to post the continuation of my would be amateur band here just for the sake of new updates ^^ and yeah...I would like to post this before but got discouraged that it has bad quality...XD these were only taken with a camera phone and the visual and audio quality of these may be out of the ordinary or "nice"...We cannot afford our own video camera and we did try to rent a studio (for better visual and audio) for recording but then my band mates lost the cassette tape...so there XP

A small WIP gift sketch to the one and only Tomcat! This sketch is based on his first rendition of Gor thus the appearance. I got diverted and my mind is not exactly helping me to come up with a proper background and a nice position of Gruff at Gor's side...oh well. hope you guys like ^^...I am not sure whether I would continue this or leave it as it is.
Now this here is my rendition of Tomcat's lovable Gorilla, Gor. I am quite honored when Mr. Tomcat asked me for an art trade, As I stated above, I am a fan of his stuff XD Gor is quite hard "to do" in general especially his extremities (also, my first attempt on gorillas ^^') but I had a lot of fun...how weird is that?!. oh...yeah, this one contains mature content and may not be suitable for work.
